Salvador G. "Sparky" Gomez

Salvador, know as Sparky, the son of Severo and Ruth Gomez, was born January 20, 1924 in Miami, Arizona and sadly passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at Providence Little Co. of Mary Hospital in Torrance, California. He was almost 90 years of age. Sparky was a multi-talented entrepreneur who successfully developed one of the largest mirror manufacturing companies in North America. He was known for his compassion, always helping others and "never meeting a stranger." Sparky is survived by three children, his devoted daughter and son-in-law, Linda and John Wacherman, Tom and Terri Gomez and Richard Gomez; his two sisters, Rose and Margaret; four wonderful grandchildren, Richie, Ryan, Michael and Danny; two beautiful great grandchildren, Makayla and Seth, other relatives, employees and many friends. Visitation will be Sunday, November 10th from 12:00 – 5:00 p.m. at Green Hills Mortuary. The Memorial Service will be the following day, Monday at 1:00 p.m. in the Green Hills Memorial Chapel. Interment will immediately follow the service.
