It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ruthlee Becker, a cherished mother and grandmother, who left this world peacefully on November 17, 2024
Ruthlee’s greatest joys were her family and the countless memories she created with them. She was a proud and loving mother whose unwavering support and kindness were a cornerstone for her children. As a grandmother, she brought endless warmth and joy, leaving a legacy of love that will forever remain in the hearts of her family.
A passionate fan of USC football and the Los Angeles Dodgers, Ruthlee could often be found cheering enthusiastically, decked out in her favorite team gear, and celebrating every victory like it was her own. Her love for USC was contagious, and game days were special family events filled with laughter, camaraderie, and, of course, Ruthlee’s signature enthusiasm.
Ruthlee’s life was defined by her dedication to her family and the values she instilled in those around her. Her kind heart, infectious smile, and endless devotion will be missed more than words can express.
She is survived by her loving children and their spouses, Jeff and Lisa Becker and Carrie and Matthew Skoll, and her treasured grandchildren, Jakob, Camden, Jaclyn, and Riley. She also leaves behind a legacy of love, loyalty, and countless fond memories for all who knew her.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 25 at 12:00 noon at Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes to honor Ruthlee’s remarkable life. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA)
