Ruth Leonelli

Ruth Ann Leonelli passed away on December 22, 2024 at the age of 92. She was born in Bancroft , Iowa on March 2, 1932 to Isadore and Eunice Mousel. Isadore died before her birth and she was subsequently raised by Roman and Eunice Ricke. After high school, Ruth attended St. Catherine’s Hospital School of Nursing, in Omaha, Nebraska, and graduated in 1953. She married Dr. Leo Leonelli in 1953, and together they had eight children. She is survived by six of them; Laura Leonelli, Steve (Jan) Leonelli, Lisa (Mark) Gallego, Dan (Nella) Leonelli, Mark (Elizabeth) Leonelli, and Melinda (Steve) Batty; 24 grandchildren, and 34 great-grandchildren. She was proceded in death by her husband Leo, and children David (2013) and Mia (2022). She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
