Ruth Gonzales

May 31, 1926 – Oct. 19, 2020 Ruth Gonzales was born on May 31, 1926 to Jesus and Victoria Gonzalez in the La Rambla neighborhood in San Pedro, California. She died at home on October 19, 2020. She died a peaceful death with her son, caretaker (Melenaite Mau), and daughter in law by her side. Ruth grew up in San Pedro, California and lived there for 50 years before moving to Carson and residing there for the remaining 44 years of her life with her recently deceased husband, Robert Gonzales. She is survived by her son Carlos La Farga, daughter in law, Marie La Farga, stepsons John and Bobby Gonzales, daughter in law Maria Gonzales, 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in heaven first by her first husband Cleofas La Farga, sons Cleo La Farga and Arturo La Farga, stepson Ernie Gonzales, grandson Cleo La Farga Jr., granddaughter Linda Dae, and siblings Molly Sanchez, Carol Harrington, Danny Gonzalez, Moses Gonzalez and Edward (Ray) Gonzalez.
