Ruben Edward Gomez Jr

Ruben Edward Gomez Jr. will be greatly missed by so many who were touched by his life during his 34 years on this earth. He flew to Heaven on April 30, 2023, into the loving arms of his Savior.

Ruben was born on November 1, 1988, and raised in Southern California where he was the oldest of six siblings (one brother and four sisters). He graduated from Carson High School in 2006 and went on to follow his passion at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in downtown Los Angeles.

He excelled in school, graduating with a degree in Visual Communications in 2012. His successful career in the Entertainment Industry allowed him to travel to many exciting destinations for business and pleasure. From the big city lights of New York City to the beaches of Waikiki; from London to Bali to Sydney, Australia. Ruben had the chance to explore the most breathtaking places and views this world has to offer.

As Ruben often did, he reveled at the opportunity to take on a challenge and always proved that he could succeed at any quest he took on. In 2020, during the heart of the pandemic, Ruben decided it was time to open his own business, and The Vice Marketing Agency was born. He gained big-name clientele and contracts that would take him from rendering creative designs and developing marketing concepts all the way to the Red Carpet in Hollywood and everything in between in just a few short years.

Despite his earthly achievements, his ultimate calling was to share the love of Christ with everyone he knew through his compassionate and thoughtful actions. Ruben was a generous soul. He helped anyone who needed it and would ask for nothing in return.

Knowing Ruben, he would not want us to mourn his loss, but celebrate his life… a life, while brief, was a life well lived. Our beloved Ruben – A great man of faith.
