Roy Kazuyuki Yamamoto

Roy K. Yamamoto of Torrance passed away on January 28, 2024, at the age of 86. He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and moved to “Mainland” Los Angeles, California in 1956. He is survived by two sons Reid and Eric Yamamoto, a granddaughter Jamie Yamamoto, a sister Carol Among, and best friend/partner Brigitte Drahonovsky. Before retiring, Roy’s main occupation was a Computer Programmer responsible for handling Payroll for Los Angeles City School Employees. Roy enjoyed shooting pool, playing Craps at the Casinos, his snacks and eating delicious meals, watching shows on Netflix, owning various automobiles throughout his lifespan, and most importantly spending time with family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 9:00 am on Friday, Mar 1, 2024, at Green Hills Memorial Chapel followed by inurnment at Green Hills Sanctuary of Tranquility.
