Rosemarie "Toots" Graham

Rosemarie passed peacefully away at her home in Long Beach, CA., on June 12th, 2021.

Rosemarie was known as “Toots” by her dear lifelong friends and family. Toots would later become known as “Grandma Toots” from the neighborhood kids and many young men and women from the softball fields to the football fields.

The only thing that Grandma Toots loved more than her grandkids, great-grandkids, and her dogs was UCLA Football. If you were a neighbor of hers, you would always know when football season started and when UCLA football was on the TV because you could hear the roars and cheers that came from her house.

When Grandma Toots wasn’t watching her grandchildren or great-grandchildren play football, basketball, softball, or when she wasn’t volunteering at the Lakewood Sheriff Station, you could find her on a bus heading to a casino.

In her downtime, which wasn’t too often, at the young age of 89, she would drive every day to pick up mail at the Post Office then to the grocery store, and invariably her great-grandkids Jayden and Jordan would talk her into taking them to Target or 31 Favors.

Rosemarie Graham, Grandma Toots, and Mom will be missed by her family and the many people that she touched over her 91 years of life.

As the old saying goes, we’re not here for a long time, just a good time, and the good Lord above knows that Rosemarie Graham, Grandma Toots, and Mom checked every one of those boxes.
