Rosalie Perez Medina passed away peacefully at home on July 6, 2018 at the age of 94. Widow of John Medina, she was a resident of San Pedro, California for over 50 years. For more than 40 years, she worked at Todd Shipyards in San Pedro as a telephone operator. Rosalie was known for her creativity, quick wit and joyful spirit despite her diagnosis of Parkinson’s Disease. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her daughters, Suzanne Medina and Joanne Courtois; granddaughters, Karlene, Michelle and Nancy as well as two great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Green Hills Memorial Chapel on Thursday, July 19 starting at 4:30 PM followed by Memories and Stories at 6:30 PM. On Saturday, July 21, a mass will be held at Holy Trinity Church at 10:00 AM followed by the burial at Green Hills Memorial Park.
