Rosa Valdez Cristobal

Rosa (Rose) Valdez Cristobal left for her heavenly home on February 5, 2024. She lived joyfully for 91 years.

Rose was born on September 4, 1932 in Kahuku, HI. She was the eldest of seven children born to Simplicio and Flora Valdez. She moved to California in 1960 and soon met her husband, Andy, where together they raised their 3 children, Richard, Elizabeth Lubliner (Eric) and Cathy Vidal (Matthew) in Wilmington, CA. They were married for 42 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Andy, her brother, Orlindo, and her sisters, Esperanza and Lisa.

She always placed family first and was a loving and nurturing wife, mother and grandmother. She will always be remembered for her sweet smile and gentle laugh.

Visitation will be held from 4:30 pm - 8pm on Monday, March 25, 2024 and the funeral service will be on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at 9:00am. All services will be held at Green Hills Memorial Chapel.
