Parker—Ronald Victor Edgley, 88, of Parker, Arizona, died at 10:46 am Monday, March 26, 2018 at Yuma Regional Medical Center, Yuma, Arizona. He was retired from McDonnell Douglas/Boeing Aircraft as a painter.
Ronald was born June 7, 1929 in Seattle, Washington to the late Edward Vaughan Edgley and the late Eunice Mae Sansom. He is survived by his daughter Kathi Jean (Donald) Andrews of Parker, Arizona; two sons, Martin Vaughan (Tanya) Edgley and Edward Roy Edgley, both of Lomita, California.
He was preceded in death by older brother Laurel Edgley (age 2), older sister Doreen Edgley (age 8), and son Ronald Lee Edgley at childbirth.
Ronald was blessed with 8 grandchildren: Brianne Kathryn (Kenneth) Ross, Donald Kevin (Rene’) Andrews, Krystal Doreen (Eric) Darling, Kimberlee Lisa (Shane) Stjernholm, Vaughan Conner Edgley, Kaitlyn Lavina Edgley, Donovan Victor Edgley, and Rya Jean Edgley.
Ronald was also blessed with 16 great-grandchildren: Heaven Rayne Ross, Eden Rose Ross, Hosanna Grace Ross, Justus Israel Ross, Journey Ryse Ross, Antoinette Rene’ Williams, Leo Alexander Banks, Jayden Patrick Darling, Jonathan Eric Darling, Liam Marcus Darling, Ezra David Darling, Redemption Promise Darling, Adam Brodee Stjernholm, Hollis Machall Stjernholm, Jason Bentlee Stjernholm, and Jack Jericho Edgley.
Ronald honorably served his country in the United States Army in Korea and was a proud Korean War Veteran. He graduated from Nathaniel Narbonne High School, Lomita, California, Class of 1949.
Visitation will be 4-8 pm, Friday, April 13, 2018 at Green Hills Memorial Park, Rancho Palos Verdes, California.
Services will be 2 pm, Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Green Hills Memorial Park, Rancho Palos Verdes, California. Burial will follow with military graveside honors conducted by the Veterans’ Administration.
Reception immediately following graveside honors at 25616 Woodward Ave, Lomita, California. Covered dishes optional but appreciated.
