Rodolfo "Rudy" Navarro

Rodolfo “Rudy” Navarro, 84, of Wilmington, California passed away peacefully on 2/6/2021.
Rudy was born on March 14, 1936 to Guadalupe and Clotilde Navarro in Wilmington, California. He was the oldest of 3 boys. He married his teenage sweetheart, Pauline Lomeli and had two beautiful daughters and one son.
Rudy attended Wilmington Park Elementary, Wilmington Junior High and Banning High School. He began working at the very young age of 15 and started his career in the restaurant industry at the age of 18. Rudy served as Head Chef of the prestigious Persian Room Restaurant in Wilmington, California for 38 years. In his later years, He enjoyed cooking home cooked meals from scratch for his grandkids.
Rudy loved shooting, fishing and building. He was truly a Jack-Of-All-Trades. He was a self-taught man. If he did not know something, he went to the library, read up on his topic of interest and taught himself. He was a smart man who used his hands to create masterpieces.
Rudy is survived by his wife Pauline of 66 years and his 3 children, Cynthia Cornejo (George), Melinda Solis (Joe) and Rudy Navarro (Debbie), along with his cherished 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren with one on the way. Rudy’s memory will live on forever in the hearts of all who loved him. He will truly be missed.
