Rodolfo Gerona

Dr. Rodolfo (Rudy) Gerona was called to rest with God on January 25, 2020 when visiting family in Los Angeles, USA, at the age of 74. He was born in Malabon, Philippines on December 9, 1945. He graduated with a degree of Doctor of Medicine from Manila Central University in 1972 and eventually found his calling to serve the people of Fiji in Labasa (1977-1982) and Sigatoka (1982-1990), working in the Ministry of Health Hospitals and then in Private Medical Practice in Sigatoka (1990-2019).

He is survived by his loving wife : Aida Vicencio Gerona; daughter : Sheila Marie Adi Viti Gerona; and grand-daughter : Leoni Benesaria Gerona.

Visitations will be held 4.30pm - 8.30pm on Saturday February 8 and Sunday February 9, 2020 in the Memorial Chapel of Green Hills Memorial Park. Funeral Ceremony will be held at 9am on Monday February 10, 2020 in Green Hills Memorial Chapel followed by a private cremation attended by immediate family only. A Celebration of Life gathering shall follow, time and venue to be advised soon.
