Rodolfo Agura

He was born on April 23, 1936 in Manila, Philippines. He arrived in American in 1969 to join his parents Julie and Julio, and his sisters Flora, Dely, and Carmen. He was the second oldest of thirteen children.

He willingly and tirelessly worked in the canaries on Terminal Island for 25 years to provide for his family of four until his well-deserved retirement.

In short, he did well for himself and his family with the little he worked hard for. He was not only able to provide for his family a home, food on the table, and transportation; but, He and his wife of 54 years enjoyed many trips to Las Vegas, a few travel cruises, and a couple trips to Europe.

He enjoyed his 20 years of retirement doing what he loved, watching movies and television, eating what he wanted, and enjoying his wife, kids, and grandchildren. He was laidback, cool and calm in all situations. Anytime you would ask him how he is doing his response would be, “I’m OK,” Just those words alone were very comforting enough for us all. He was a great husband, silently loving father, and a fun grandfather.

Sadly, he passed on Good Friday, April 2, 2021, due to irreversible consequences of an unexpected heart attack. He was 84, just 2 weeks shy of his 85th birthday.

He is survived by his wife, Carmelita, Son Randy (wife Lynese), and Rodney (wife Barbara), and his six grandchildren Matthew, Bethany, Tanner, Rayden, Rayce, and Petyon.

He will be missed dearly by ALL.
