Rodney Feniquito, 77, of Rancho Palos Verdes, California, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2022 surrounded by family. He was a kind and loving husband to Editha, as well as an amazing father and grandfather to his three children Sean Owen, Fritzie and Jill and five grandchildren Alexa, Jalen, Sabrina, Jillian and Jacqueline.
Rodney loved the simple things in life and spending time with his precious family and friends. He enjoyed going on dates with Editha, his wife of 54 years. May it be eating in a restaurant or grocery shopping, they had fun because they were together. If he was not on a date with his wife, you would find him watching sports on tv or outdoors tending to his vegetable garden, fruit trees and orchids.
Rodney was such an avid sports fan. He loved tennis, golf and basketball. He spent many early mornings playing golf with his buddies.
Rodney was an ideal friend. He was loyal and trustworthy. Many of his close friends were childhood friends, friends he went to high school with. They would say that he was always the life of the party. Whether he was with family or friends, he was full of jokes and funny stories to tell.
Rodney’s most valued possession was his family. His kindness was felt by everyone. He is Dad to not just his own kids, but also to his nieces and nephews. He touched their lives in different ways that cannot be forgotten. He was truly a giving, caring and selfless soul.
Rodney will be sadly missed and will remain in our hearts…always.
