Roberto Coloma Labasan

It is with great sadness that the family of Roberto Coloma Labasan announces his death on December 15, 2011. Surrounded by his loving family, Roberto left us peacefully. Roberto Coloma Labasan was born to Gelacio and Marcella on June 2, 1922 in Llocos Norte, Philippines Island. He lived in Torrrance, California for 58 years and worked at Northrop Grumman for 28 years. He loved being with his family and friends, playing with his roosters, and going to the casinos. Roberto is survived by his wife, Filomena, and their children Warlito (Adelina), and from his preceding deceased wife Ignacia, and their children Becky (Stuart) and Roberto James (Yolanda). He was blessed with 8 grandchildren Wadie (Jon), Bong (Wendy), Wilbert, Kyle, Melissa, Jason, Jessica and Yolanda (Javier). He also had 6 great-grandchildren Courtney, Caroline, Cooper, Cody, Ryan and Stella. Also, mourning his passing is his brother Avelino, sister Josephine, and many close relatives and friends. Viewing will be from 5 pm to 8 pm on Thursday December 22. Rosary will be held on Thursday December 22 at 7 pm – 8 pm. Please join us for services at Green Hills Memorial Chapel on Friday December 23 at 9:00 a.m. followed by Interment.
