Roberto Delgado

Roberto Delgado, (51), of Los Angeles, California, passed away on Saturday, February 3rd, 2024, at the Memorial Hospital of Gardena.

Roberto, known to many as Robert, was born in Hollywood, California at Queen of Angels on November 30th, 1972. Robert’s parents, Jose Maria and Beatriz Delgado had eight children. Their children’s names were Gemma, Jose, Alfonso, Felipe, Frank, Eduardo, Maria, and Roberto. Roberto grew up on Bell Avenue in Los Angeles, California, where he made many lifelong friends. Roberto and his seven older siblings all attended St. Aloysius Catholic School. Later in his adulthood, Robert began to have health issues which would lead to many hours spent in dialysis centers, surgeries, and hospital stays. Although Robert disliked hospitals, he still managed to make those around him laugh and smile with his kindness and sense of humor.

Robert is survived by his fiancé, Sonia Banales, his children, Robert Jr., Joseph, Brianna, and his two grandchildren, Penelope, and Theodore. Robert is preceded in death by his parents Jose and Beatriz, and by his youngest son, Daniel. Robert loved nothing more than his family.

Please join the family to celebrate and honor the memory of Roberto Delgado at Green Hills Chapel on March 1st, 2024. The visitation is from 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. with the rosary beginning at 6 p.m.

The funeral services will begin with a Catholic Mass at St. Aloysius Church in Los Angeles, California on March 2nd, 2024 at 10 a.m. The burial ceremony will take place at Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.
