Robert Goulding Walden

Rancho Palos Verdes – Robert G. Walden passed away on July 18, 2015 at St. Joseph Home in Springfield, IL. He was born in Detroit, Mich., on March 17, 1925, to Harold and Irene Walden. He married Elizabeth Nertney. She preceded him in death in 1989. He later married Georgiann Macchio and she survives.

He was also preceded in death by sons, Christopher Mark Walden and Thomas Macchio.

Mr. Walden is also survived by sons, Daniel (Barbara) Walden, Gregory (Patricia) Walden and Michael (Ginny) Walden; daughter, Susan Hughes; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Mr. Walden was a US Navy veteran. He was the former Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Senior Vice President for Logicon Inc., which was purchased by Northrop Grumman (Integrated System) based in Virginia.

Robert Walden will be laid to rest in Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes, Ca on Aug 1, 2015.
