Robert Allen Mckee

Robert Allen Mckee, 76, died 27th December 2017 in Torrance, CA from Medical complications. His funeral service will be held this Friday, January 5, 2018 at Greenhills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA followed by interment.

Robert was born on 1st February, 1941 in Banner Elk, North Carolina to Dorothy and Donald Mckee. He gained the highest rank of Command Master Chief Petty officer (E-9) in the US Navy and served for 23 years. He was a very accomplished, honest, highly skilled throughout his career in the US navy. He was an honorable person and well respected man. He took so much pride of his dedicated work in the military. He enjoyed travelling around the globe through the years before he fell ill.

Robert first met his surviving wife, Ligaya in Pascagoula, MS in 1974. After that, Ligaya and Robert went their separate ways for 37 years. Through God's wonderful miracle, they have found each other again. Because of their genuine, lingering love for each other that was never lost, Robert Allen Mckee and Ligaya F, Uy, were finally married on September 8, 2010 by the grace of God. They lived 7 years of blissful marriage in Torrance, CA

Robert is survived by his wife, Ligaya, His daughter, Kimberly Elaine Wiseman. Granddaughter, Raina Wiseman. Sisters: Joanne Thompson, Linda Wise, and Judy Norris of Newland, NC. He is preceded in death by his father, Donald Mckee. Mother, Dorothy Waycaster. Sister, Sandra Puckett of Newland, NC.

Visitation will be from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM on Friday, January 5, 2018. Interment will be from 2:00 PM - 5 PM at Greenhills Memorial Park, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA

Robert will be greatly missed.
