Robert (Bob) James Gow

Robert James Gow was born on April 16, 1931 in Gary, Indiana, the youngest of the seven children of Peter and Regina Gow. He passed away on July 7, 2013 in his sleep.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Judith Vanderpool Gow; his three sons, James (Lynne) Gow of Torrance CA, Kenneth (Nelda) Gow of Oceanside CA and William (Robin) Gow of Sacramento CA and five granddaughters Laurén, Bryahn, Gina, Alice and Michaela; his brother, Gordon (Esther) Gow of Lakewood CA and his many nephews and nieces.
He served in the USAF during the Korean War and worked at McDonnell Douglas, Northrop, North American Aviation, Rockwell, Aero-Jet, Autonetics and Boeing working on many airplanes and all of the space exploration vehicles.
He attended St. Philomena Catholic Church in Carson for over 54 years.
He was active with the PTA, Little League Baseball and Boy Scout Troop 950 in Carson.
Visitation is Sunday, July 14, 3-8pm and services are Monday, July 15, 1pm at Green Hills Mortuary, RPV, CA 90275.
