Robert 'Bob' Lee Hlodan, age 68, of Gardena, CA, born March 30, 1944 in Point Marion, PA, passed away on October 9, 2012.He moved to California in 1982.
Bob was an active and avid sports person. He was a basketball referee and official for 40 years. He loved singing karaoke with family and friends.
Bob was a star football player at Albert Gallatin High School and continued playing in college at Middle Tennessee State University, where he was selected MVP at the Grantland Rice Bowl in 1964 and where earned a master's degree.
He will always be remembered in our hearts and will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.
Left to cherish his memories are his beloved wife of 24 years, Gloria Hlodan; daughter, Lynda Junir; son, Robert Hlodan, Jr.; daughter, Beth Corcoran and step - daughter, Eileen Juarez. He also leaves behind six grandchildren, Kayla, Stefan, Lauren, Jenna, Julien and Allison.Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 19 at GREEN HILLS MEMORIAL PARK, Rancho Palos Verdes, California.
