Robert Chavira

Robert Albert Chavira (December 29, 1953 to May 17, 2018)

Robert was born in San Pedro on December 29, 1953, graduated from Banning High in 1972, and became a carpenter in 1975. He retired from the trade in 2010 and was a resident of Wilmington for 61 years. Robert died peacefully in his sleep on May 17, 2018 after his four year battle with cancer. Robert is survived by his wife Virginia (Virgie), Daughters: Michelle Allen (Jason) of Cypress, Danielle Chavira of Wilmington, Son: Robert Chavira, Jr. of Costa Mesa, Granddaughters: Leanne Allen, Alyssa Allen, Cayla Chavira-Legaspi, Grandson: Noah Roybal, Sisters: Lydia Chavira, Penny Magana and Valerie Chavira.

Services begin on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Green Hills Chapel at 7:00 p.m., Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Mary Star of the Sea at 10:30 am, followed by burial services at Green Hills Cemetery.
