Robert James Board

Robert, the son of Burt and Bonnie Board passed away on Sunday, October 7th at the Age of 91 at his home in Fallbrook, California. He was born on February 24, 1921 in San Pedro, California. Robert lived his early years in San Pedro where he was plumber before enlisting in the U.S. Navy, July 1942, and later became a Los Angeles City Fire fighter until retirement. He was an avid Swing Dancer, and upon retirement he and Jean continued with golf, tennis and water skiing. Robert was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Jacque. He is survived by Jean (Thomas) Board his loving wife of 70 years; his nephew, Donald Costa; two great nephews, Michael Costa and Daniel Costa; a great niece, Pamela Moreno and many other great great-nephews and nieces. The Interment Site Service will be held on Monday, October 15th at 12:00 noon at Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes.
