Robert Andrews

Robert Andrews Jr. was born May 4, 1945, in Dundee Mississippi. Robert (Bob) passed away peacefully in his home Monday, July 25, 2022, with his loving caring wife/caregiver by his side.

Robert was an only child. He graduated from Aggie High School and entered the United States Marine Corp where he courageously served his country in the Vietnam War. After returning from Vietnam, he obtained a B.S. Degree in Math from California State University Long Beach and transitioned into a successful career as an Aerospace Engineer.

No project was too big for Bob as he enjoyed a challenge and faced it with the same grit as he did throughout his entire life.

He truly loved and adored his family and enjoyed the simple pleasures, joking and chatting with his family and friends as well as spending time with his granddaughters.

Robert married (Dorothy Andrews) on November 19, 1964. This union produced three beautiful children two girls and a boy. (Sharon Andrews) Wanda and Vaughn. Two grandchildren were added to the family tree Kaitlyn and Reagan whom he cherished and focused a great deal of time on their wellbeing. Robert was preceded in death by Dorothy and Sharon.

Bob married Dr. Glynis D Wallace April 24, 2004, and they were faithfully married for 17 years until his death.
