Ricardo B. Redaja Jr. was born in Catbalogan, Samar, Philippines on October 18, 1941 to Ricardo Sr. and Eufracia Redaja. He was the youngest son of 13 siblings.
He received his B.S. in Criminolgy. His studies also revolved around Tool and Diemaking Technology. He worked as an engineer and met his wife, Helen, at work in 1966. They got married in Canada in 1969. A little over a decade later, Ricardo and Helen immigrated to California with their 2 daughters in 1981.
Ricardo loved to help people whether it was through building things, fixing things, cooking, or giving great advice. He thoroughly enjoyed finding treasures at swap meets and sharing his life experiences with those fortunate enough to meet him. His charming smile, his upbeat attitude, and his captivating conversations will sorely be missed.
Ricardo (Ricky, Rick, Leo, Carding) is survived by his wife, Helen; his children, Rosanna and Jonathan; his son-in-law, Myron; and his grandson, Mason. He is now reunited with his first born, Richelle, in the loving arms of God.
