Ricardo B. Lejano

Ricardo Barrios Lejano passed away at his home in the presence of his loving wife, Raquel Celera Lejano on May 28, 2018 after a 5-year bout with cancer. Ric was born on December 10, 1935 in Kalibo, Aklan, Philippines to parents, Panfilo Limon Lejano and Adoracion Garde Barrios. He grew up in Tagbilaran, Bohol and went to school in St. Joseph’s Academy. When the family moved to Manila, Ric studied at St. John’s Academy in San Juan. He graduated from San Beda College with a Bachelor of Science major in Commerce. Carding, as he is fondly called by family, worked at Philippine Standard before immigrating to the United States in 1976. He worked in the Purchasing Department of the US Long Beach Naval Yard. He was a long-time resident of Torrance, California. Viewing will be held on Friday, June 1, 2018 at 4:00 – 8:00 PM at the Cove Suite of Green Hills Mortuary. The funeral service will be held at the Chapel on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 8:45 AM.
