Regina Greger Hight

"Regina Greger Hight, the beloved daughter of Regina Taubner and Josef Hefner, passed away on April 22, 2016, at the age of 78. She was born on March 21, 1938, in Yugoslavia and immigrated to the United States in 1952. She married her loving husband Franz Greger, who she survived, in 1957, and they had three children, Christa Kolling, and Frank and Michael Greger. Regina is survived by her loving husband Bob Hight who she married in 2002; her three children, her seven grandchildren, and brother Adam Hefner. She was a long-time and avid member of the Los Angeles Danube-Swabian German Cultural Club, and also sang in the church choir. She enjoyed traveling, national parks, reading and visiting family and friends throughout the United States and Europe – and Regina also became a fan of UCLA football. She earned a bachelor's and master's degree in nutrition from Cal State Los Angeles and she founded her own successful consulting practice. A visitation will be held on Friday, April 29, 2016, from 3-8 pm at Green Hills Mortuary - Villetta Suite. A service will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016, at 10 am at Saint John Fisher Catholic Church, Rancho Palos Verdes.
