Rebecca V. Toscano

Rebecca Valdez Toscano, June 17, 1951 - May 2, 2023. Rebecca was known throughout her life as Becky. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. She was born in San Pedro to Alfonso and Josefina Valdez, residents of San Pedro’s La Rambla area. She lived most of her life in San Pedro. She was married and became a loving devoted mother to two sons and a daughter. Becky loved music and traveling with her many friends.

She was a member of the Sun Shine Club who made and donated fleece blankets to the men and women of our U.S. Armed Forces. She more recently joined the Harbor Lights Club. She worked for 32 years at the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD). Most of her years at LAUSD were as a Special Ed Assistant. She was passionate, spirited, and had a deep love and faith in God.

Becky’s true joy and happiness was when she was surrounded by her adult children and their families. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her eldest son Michael, his wife Dani and their daughter Jordyn, her son Andy, his wife Aletheia, and their children, Andrew, Sienna, Joshua, Peter, and her daughter Kristina and her husband John and their children, Rico and Aubrey, as well as all of her great-grandchildren, including Shiloh, Malachi, Nevaeh, and Elijah. She is also survived by her siblings, god-daughters, nieces and nephews, aunts and cousins. She will be forever in our hearts.
