Rebecca "Beckee" Louise Coulter

Beckee lost her long and hard fought battle with cancer. We are saddened by her passing but are confident she is now at peace with her Heavenly Father. She was born Oct. 1, 1949 to Richard and Lucille Martz in Lynwood, CA and went home to the Lord at age 64 on Aug. 7, 2014. Always welcoming, joyful and encouraging, Beckee believed it only takes a little extra effort to be above average. After graduating Cal State Long Beach with her B.A. and teaching credential, she married her college sweetheart, Rick Coulter, in 1975 at Wayfarers Chapel. Beckee became a teacher and Girl Scout leader for well over a decade, and led with compassion and energy. Vastly creative, Beckee was a regular volunteer for Hands On Art in Redondo Beach schools and had many creative hobbies. Some of her family's most treasured memories are of their many family vacations to all 50 states and more than 20 countries, resulting in countless scrapbook albums. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, friend and recent grandmother. She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Rick; sons, Campbell (Krista and their son Scott), Cameron; daughter, Andrea; brothers, Jerry (Paula) Martz, Brian (Vicki) Martz, Bruce (Tammy) Martz; sister, Rhonda Blasongame and extended family across the United States. Her Memorial Celebration will be held on Aug 28, 2014 at 2:00pm at Journey of Faith Church, 1243 Artesia Blvd, Manhattan Beach.
