Raymond Perea, Jr., of Long Beach, passed away on Monday, June 10th.
Raymond was born November 12, 1971 the son of Raymond Perea, Sr. and Dorothy Kratzer who are both from the South Bay. Raymond, who was also lovingly known as Ray Ray, graduated from Torrance High School, worked as a longshoreman, and was a proud member of the ILWU, Local 13 Union. He had passion for great food, a good movie, shopping, and spending time with friends. His constant smile was a testament to the fact that he enjoyed himself with those whom he surrounded himself with. He was fortunate to have a family and a core group of friends who loved him dearly. He will be missed tremendously.
Raymond is survived by his grandmother Melba Guzman; his mother Dorothy and her husband Jim; his brothers and sisters Turee, Daniel, and Joann.
Father Raymond Sr. and his wife Yolanda, his brothers and sisters John, Gina, Tom, Susie, and Lisa; and many Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services are on Thursday, 6/20/13, at 1:00 pm at Green Hills Memorial Chapel with Inurnment to follow at Green Hills Memorial Park.
