Raul Garcia of Torrance, CA passed away on Saturday evening, February 3rd, at his home.
Raul was born in Culver City, CA and moved to Torrance, CA in 1941 where he then resided for over 80 years. He graduated from Torrance High School. As a teenager he worked many of the farms in the South Bay area, then for Derwin Brothers Furniture Frames, Northrop Aircraft and was hired in with the City of Torrance in 1957 where he worked for 40 years.
He is survived by his sisters Eleanor Garnica, Ada Hawks, Flora Garnica and his brothers Richard Garcia, Ruben Garnica and Gilbert Garnica, numerous nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be held at Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes on Saturday, February 17th at 2:00 pm.
