Ranjit Grewal

Dr. Ranjit Singh Grewal was a remarkable physician, a sports enthusiast and a devoted father of three.

Born on September 9th, in the village of Gagra, Ludhiana, Punjab, India, Dr. Grewal was a paragon of knowledge, compassion, and dedication. He was a beloved member of the medical community, dedicating his life to the healing and well-being of others. He attended Govt. College Ludhiana for his pre-medical, received his medical degree from Govt. Medical College, Amritsar where he also played collegiate soccer. He embarked on a new journey in the United States where he performed his residency & fellowship at Louis A Weiss Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. He went on to start his own practice in Torrance, California focusing on Internal Medicine and Family Practice, transforming the lives of countless patients through his expertise and unwavering care. He retired after 40 incredible years in the medical field on September 1, 2022.

Dr. Grewal’s greatest source of joy and pride was his family, friends and patients. He met the love of his life, his wife Carol in Chicago. He was a devoted father to his three children, Jessica, William and Justin and grandfather to Charlotte. Despite the demands of his career, he made sure to create memorable moments by never missing one of their sports games or school events where he instilled in them the values of integrity, hard work and the importance of cherishing family bonds.
