Randal Allen Meese

Born January 29, 1954, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, he was a long-time resident of Rancho Palos Verdes (over 20 years), passed away October 4, 2022. Randy was married to Ann Horiuchi and they had just celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary in September. Randy was a ham operator and it was one hobby he had enjoyed even before he started high-school. He learned all the rules and regulations of ham operating and received his Ham Operator’s License. After graduating he continued his education in engineering and electronics, received his bachelor’s degree, and soon thereafter was hired by a communications company, then known as Advanced Electronics. It was the perfect job for Randy. He worked there until he retired in 2021. Randy loved the beach and Hawaii was his favorite vacation place and it was also where he and Ann got married. They both liked taking walks and also working out at the gym, taking winery tours up and down the California coast-line and last but certainly not least, they enjoyed the antics of their beautiful beloved cat, Winston III, always making them smile.

Randy was a loving son, brother, husband, father and grandfather. He was predeceased by his Mother, Sarah Meese, and his Father, Art Meese. With broken hearts, he leaves behind his wife, Ann Horiuchi, his sister, Sharon Holladay, two daughters, Nicole Conley and Karina Celis, their mother, Lydia Meese, and four grand-children, Sarah Belle and Danny Boy Conley and Jon Michael and Anthony Blu Celis. Randy will be missed by his family and his friends. He will be loved forever and will always be in our hearts and memories.

Randy will be interred with his Mother and Father at Green Hills Memorial Park, Rancho Palos Verdes, on October 20th.
