Ramona Bakovic

Ramona "Tina" Christine Valdez-Bakovic was born in Laramie, Wyoming on January 1, 1949 and passed away October 21, 2016 in Downey, California. Tina is the third youngest of 12 children. She grew up in Wyoming and loved to dance. She loves her family more than words could express. Family was everything to her. It never mattered if you were blood related or a friend that had become family, she loved everyone and would do anything to help, support, and care for her family. She had a special way of making people feel safe and happy when they were with her. Everyone was always welcome in her home and she looked forward to every moment she got to spend with her family. Tina is survived by her husband, Mark Bakovic, her children Kimberly Fletcher, Tammie Vaca, Stacie Miles, and Timothy Vigil, her two son in laws Ed Vaca and Wayne Miles, and her 4 grandchildren, Lachelle Robinson, Justin Vaca, Alexis Nix, and Halle Vaca. Tina is also survived by 6 of her siblings Roger Valdez, Virginia Lujan, Shirley Casias, Elizabeth Montoya, Helen Monson, and Kathy Joyner. She is also survived by her God children Mario Casias and Priscilla Ybarra, her nephew Thomas Lara, as well as many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents Alex and Tivy Valdez as well as 5 of her siblings Max Valdez, Steve Valdez, Grace Gardea, Nelda Lara, and Edith Garcia. Our beautiful Mama Bear will forever be missed and loved.
