On Tuesday, December 22, 2020, Ramon Bustamante, loving son, brother, and father of five children, passed away at the age of 54. Ramon was born on
December 15, 1966, in Torrance CA to Ralph and Martha Bustamante. He grew up in Torrance and graduated from West High School in 1985. Shortly after, he started working at the local Albertsons and started a family.
Even though Ramon took on a few second jobs in order to provide for his growing family, he stayed with the Albertsons company for 33 years. Throughout those years, he created so many meaningful relationships with the community. He had days that were long and exhausting but what made it better were the people that he would talk to about their day and family. He always thought it was neat to see the children of his customers, friends, and coworkers growing up throughout the time he had known them. He couldn’t believe how much they grew since the last time he saw them even though only a week passed.
Ramon loved reminiscing about his school days. He got up to a lot of shenanigans that somehow ended up with setting off firecrackers, him falling off of something, or some kind of crazy party he threw in high school while his parents were out of town.
Ramon enjoyed many things such as papier-mache, cooking, baking, watching TV and movies, and going to concerts. However, his greatest joy of all was spending quality time with his family. His love for his children was known by all who knew him. He always made sure to make each one of them know how special they were. Ramon will be truly missed by his family, friends, and community.
