Ralph Allen Tomsco
1944-2024
Passed away at the age of 80 on April 27, 2024. Born April 18, 1944, to Rose and Joseph Tomsco, he was the eldest of four brothers. Ralph grew up in San Pedro, California where he attended Bandini Elementary, Dana Jr. High and San Pedro High School, graduating in 1962. Ralph had an early and lasting love of cars and became skilled at the artistry of classic car restoration. He devoted his entire professional life to auto body repair. Ralph had fond memories of his time working at Martin Chevrolet in Torrance. He later dedicated 26 years at DWP Los Angeles where he retired as auto body shop supervisor in 2005. Ralph was a supportive and loving father, proud grandfather, beloved dad, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He found joy in watching his grandkids play sports, cycling, drawing, watching football and spending time with family. Ralph had a unique way of finding the irony and humor in the day-to-day interactions of life. His friends and family cherish the memories and laughter shared with Ralph.
