Rafaela "Lita" T. Galamgam

Rafaela "Lita" T. Galamgam, the daughter of Eugenia Rubio and Juan Garate, passed away on April 11, 2016. She was born on November 24, 1938 in Mexico and was a long time resident of San Pedro. She worked very hard on Terminal Island at Pan Pacific Fish Cannery for nearly 30 yrs and can be seen in the background of California Gold with Huell Howser "Cannery" episode as well as the 1987 film "In the Mood" (The Woo Woo Kid) enjoying what she did. Rafaela is survived by her beloved children Jose (Rick) Huerta, Johnny Tirado and her four grandchildren, Michael Tirado, Madison Tirado, Julian Huerta, and Aidan Huerta. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at 9am at the Historic Church at Green Hills Memorial Park.
