Rachel A. Munoz

Rachel A. Munoz was called to heaven on December 3, 2013. Rachel was born to Consuelo and Maximino Alvarez on February 11, 1954 in Torrance, CA. She was a lifetime resident of San Pedro, CA. Rachel was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Robert Munoz, brother, Alex Hernandez, and grandson, Benny Matthew Mandac.

Rachel spent the last 14-yrs as an Alcohol & Drug Counselor and was a devoted sister, mom, grandmother, aunt, and was a beloved friend to many.

She is survived by her four sons, Benny (Christine) Mandac, Narciso (Adriana) Mandac, Richard Mandac, and Robert Munoz, two daughters, Maria (Ray) Mandac, and Monica (Anthony) Munoz, 13 grandsons, 7 granddaughters, six brothers, Art (Ingrid) Padilla, Carlos Alvarez, Tony Alvarez, Manuel (Iris) Nunez, Daniel Mandac, and Joe (Lisa) Mandac, and 3 sisters, Maria (Bill) Magallanes, Lucille Mandac, and Jessie Mandac and countless nieces, nephews and friends.

We love you Mom! We will carry your love in our hearts always and you are going to be missed terribly.

Viewing will be at Green Hills Memorial Chapel on Friday, December 13, 2013 from 5-9pm. Funeral services will be at Green Hills Memorial Chapel on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 11am with burial services to follow.
