Pete Perez Cruz

Born on Nov. 22, 1943 in San Pedro, CA. Unexpectedly passed away on Aug. 6, 2022 in San Pedro, CA.

Born to Jose and Concepcion Crux Pete grew up in Wilmington, CA attending Holy Family School, Wilmington Jr. High and Banning High School.

He worked at Purex Corp. in Carson, CA for 20 years. He also worked at Torrance center and Rolling hills Covenant Church performing technical maintenance and being the lead maintenance man until he retired in 2011.

He was a big sports fan but his favorites were the Raiders, NASCAR and the Angels. Pete was the definition of a "car guy". He loved his '49 Chevy and going to car shows and cruising.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria, his sons, John and Robert (Susi).
He leaves his legacy with his grandchildren Lauren, Haley, Jonathan, Justin, and Diego, his sister Bertha and is preceded in death by siblings Benjamin, Mary, Peter and Lupe.

All family and friends are invited to attend services for Pete on Sept. 8, 2022 at Harbor Christian Center (1551 Wilmington Blvd., Wilmington, CA) at 10:00am. Procession immediately following to Green Hills Memorial Par. All invited to the reception at Harbor Christian Center.
