Perlito Lungay, known as Lito or Toto by his family and friends passed away on February 4, 2025 at the age of 58.
Born in February 10, 1966 and raised in Baybay City, Leyte, Philippines, Lito joined the Philippine Marines in 1984 where he served for 20 years and became a part of the Presidential Security Group during the Estrada and Arroyo administration.
In 2004, he immigrated to the United States with a dream of building a better life for his family. He worked so many jobs before he landed on his job as a Security Force in a US military base in Kuwait. Everyone who knew and loved him knows how dedicated he was at work and that he takes so much pride in being an American citizen, living the dream, and serving his country in his own ways.
Lito enjoys strenuous sports during his young age. He was part of the Philippine National Team for both Wrestling and Rowing, and participated in Southeast Asian Games in Singapore and Indonesia. It was during his late adulthood when he discovered his excitement in traveling, when he travelled to Italy and Switzerland.
Lito’s kindness, humor, mischievous smile, and generosity will be forever cherished in the hearts and memories of the people who knew and loved him. He is survived by his two daughters Lyn and Joy, brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, sisters-in-law
