Paul "Nacho" Garcia
February 1, 1932 — August 30, 2021
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our brother Paul at the age of 89. Paul was born in Douglas, Arizona to Francisco and Julia Garcia.
He attended Mary Star of the Sea Elementary School, graduated from San Pedro High school, and attended Harbor College. Paul served in the U.S. Navy from 1951 to 1955 as an Aviation Ordnanceman during the Korean War. After his honorable discharge he worked for the State of California in Sacramento for many years in different departments. He loved classic cars and was a proud owner of a 1979 Lincoln Mark V.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Joe, Joaquin and Frank Garcia and sisters Antonia Hernandez and Consuelo Grajeda. He is survived by his sisters Margarita Pacheco, Julia Schroder, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and his friend George Leblanc.
Burial will take place at Green Hills Memorial Park September 23, 2021. A Celebration of Life
will take place at a later date.
