Patrick Muccillo passed away on June 18, 2012, at the age of 101. Patrick was born on June 4, 1911, in Chiauci, Italy, one of six children born to Angelo and Rose Muccillo (Colabuono). While living in Italy he attended trade school becoming a design tailor. In 1925 he left Italy and came to the United States with his family and settled in Cincinnati, Ohio and worked for Freeman Brothers. In 1940 he met and married the love of his life, Angie Carollo. In 1949 Patrick, Angie and their two children moved to California residing in Encino. Patrick continued working as a design tailor for Brooks Brothers and Robinson May in Los Angeles. While working for Brooks Brothers his clients included Tyrone Power, Clark Gable, Errol Flynn, and James Stewart. After Angie died in 1987, leaving a void in Patrick's life that he could never replace, he moved to Rancho Palos Verdes, living with his daughter and her family until his death. Patrick was a generous and loving man who greatly enjoyed life especially gatherings and parties with his family and his deceased wife's family. He is survived by his son, Richard Muccillo of Carlsbad and his wife Rina; his daughter, Anita Bohan of Rancho Palos Verdes and her husband James; four grandchildren, Kelli Austin, Timothy Bohan, Mikala Muccillo, and Nicole La Zarr; and four great grandchildren, Andrew Austin, Hailey Austin, Patrick Bohan, and Audrey Bohan. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 22, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Fisher Church, 5448 Crest Road, Rancho Palos Verdes, California 90275. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Saint John Fisher Building Fund – Campaign 21.
