Owen Alexander Silverman

Owen Alexander Silverman, age 89, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2024 at Clearwater at South Bay Assisted Living. Owen was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on September 25, 1935 and was a graduate of UCLA Law School. He originally worked as a District Attorney in Los Angelas County, prosecuting crimes before opening his own law practice where he specialized in personal injury litigation. During his career Owen was licensed to practice law in California, Arizona, and Michigan. He was very proud of his work as an attorney and continued to be licensed to practice law until the day he died. Owen also enjoyed playing golf during his lifetime and being a basketball fan. Owen was a lifelong UCLA fan regardless of sport. Owen enjoyed traveling including visiting his grandchildren. His favorite travel destination with his wife was Hawaii. Owen is survived by his wife Evelyn, son Samuel K Silverman (Kelly), son Robert Mark Silverman (Kelly Patterson) and grandchildren Karli Silverman (Beau Lemmerman), Taylor Silverman, Elijah Silverman, and Emalyn Silverman. Immediate family members will attend a burial at Greenhill’s Cemetery in Rancho Palos Verdes on October 16, 2024. At which time they will reminisce and support each other.
