Nunzia Lo Grande

Nunzia Fiore was born in Trappeto, Sicily on October 27th 1934. Nunzia got married to Matteo Lo Grande the love of her life on December 27th 1954 in the town on Trappeto Sicily. Nunzia and her husband Matteo had three children; their son Pino, their daughter Pinella, and their son Pietro. She was a good wife and a good mother. She loved to cook and bake for her family and dear friends.

Nunzia and Matteo immigrated to Germany for several years. Then in 1972 they immigrated to the United States, to the city of San Pedro California in which they lived the rest of their lives. Her beloved husband Matteo Lo Grande passed away on July 11th 2017. God rest his soul.

In 1975 her daughter Pinella got married to Emanuele Candela and they had four children. Their first-born beloved Giacomo Candela passed away on April 6th1997. God rest his soul. Matteo Candela who is married to Maria Ferrigno, Cecilia Candela who is married to Mark Ardaiz, and Nancy Candela who is married to Lee Smith.

In 1978 her son Pino got married to Anna Maria Russo. They were blessed with three daughters; Nancy Lo Grande who is married to Hector Samoyoa, Rosalia Lo Grande who is married to Shawn Gibson, and Christina Lo Grande who is married to Chris Pappas.

On January 19th 2016, his beloved daughter Nancy Samoyoa passed away. God rest her soul. And On March 15th 2016, his Beloved wife Anna Maria Lo Grande passed away. God rest her soul.
In 2005, Pietro got married to Mariella Monticciolo and they have three children; Matteo Lo Grande, Nancy Lo Grande, and Catherine Lo Grande.

Our dear Nonna Nunzia, she enjoyed trips to the casino in Palms Springs, vacations, cruises, and visiting her son and grand kids in Germany. She enjoyed her last days near her dear family.

Nunzia is survived by Her siblings: Conceata Militello, Pietro Fiore, and Maria Vaccaro. By her 3 children: Pino Lo Grande, Pinella Candela, and Pietro Lo Grande. By her grandchildren: Matteo Candela, Cecilia Ardaiz, Nancy Smith, Rosalia Gibson, Christina Pappas, Matteo Lo Grande, Nancy Lo Grande, and Catherine Lo Grande. By her great grandchildren: Carlo Samayoa, Mariah Candela, Santino Samayoa, Gemma Pappas, Rylie Ardaiz, Daniela Ardaiz, Milana Candela, Cole Pappas, Mark Ardaiz, Giacomo Smith, and Emanuele Smith.
