Norman E. Dobrick

October 30, 1932 — July 17, 2015

Norm Dobrick was a long-time Redondo Beach resident. He graduated from Redondo Union High School in 1950 and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. His business, Dobrick's Pet Center, was a local landmark dating back to the 1920's. Norm also made his home in Mansfield, Texas and Flagstaff, Arizona. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Davie; children Julie, David, Matthew, and daughter-in-law Teresa; grandchildren Kevin, Clayton, Jenna, Daniel, Shelby, Allison, and Wyatt; great-grandchildren Hailey and Troy; sister Virginia Chapin; brothers-in-law Eugene Chapin and Ronald J. Ayers; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. In lieu of flowers the family requests any donations in Norm's memory be made to assist Redondo Beach veterans at the American Legion South Bay Post 184.
