Norma Luisa Lee

Norma Luisa Lee was the oldest of two children born to Winifred Samms Lee and Felipe Bernardino Lee. She was born September 23, 1927, in Bocas del Toro, Republic of Panama.

She immigrated to the United States in October of 1962 and with the help of the LORD, she was able to bring all of her children to the United States. She worked various jobs as housekeeper, seamstress, hairdresser, Cannery quality control worker and resided in San Pedro and Fontana, California.

Her greatest achievements were her children and grandchildren. She loved telling stories about everything in her life. She loved her grandchildren and was proud of all their accomplishments .She called each one them her “Toochey Woochey” as babies. She enjoyed dressing up and being admired by others. She also enjoyed watching the Los Angeles Lakers games.

One of her special moments was celebrating her 90th birthday Panamanian style where she was able to wear the Panamanian Traditional dress called a Pollera. Also, on her 95th birthday, her great grandchildren honored her by performing a traditional Panamanian dance. She loved the LORD and her heritage.

Her hobbies were reading her Bible, singing, playing Bingo, slot machines, word search puzzles, watching game shows, the Sonshine channel (Jimmy Swaggert), and watching the Lakers play basketball.

She was an active member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church – She participated in the Choir and Bell Choir.

She is survived by her children: Patrocinio “Pancho” (Elaine) Lee, Mireya (Warren) Jones, Ana (Brian) MacFarlane, Amelia Lee, Yadira (Gilberto) Wilson, and Marla (Jesse) Simms.

Grandchildren: Warren Jones Jr., Keyla Whitenhill, Mark Jones, Kisha Daniels, Patrocinio (PJ) Lee Jr., Gilberto Wilson Jr (Juni), Kaanon MacFarlane, Joshua Wilson, Timothy Jones, Caleb Wilson, Jacob Simms, Mireya MacFarlane, Morgan Lee, Matthew MacFarlane, Alexia MacFarlane.

Great-Grandchildren: Kaylee Wilson, Ayden Daniels, Isabella Daniels, Emilie Daniels, Eliana Daniels, Luke Daniels, Lady Natasha Wilson, Prince Zaire Wilson, Noah Wilson, Liam Wilson, Avery Whitenhill, Eden Whitenhill, Kendall Whitenhill, Kamora MacFarlane, Jaxon MacFarlane, Kason MacFarlane.

Nephews and Nieces: Vicente Ogilvie, Luisa Ogilvie, Antonia Lee, Amalia Lee, Aurelio Lee, Osvaldo Lee Jr., Barbara Lee, Lidia Lee
