Natividad Lagui Sourgose

Natividad (Naty) Lagui Monzon Sourgose passed away of natural causes, peacefully in her sleep, at her home in Carson on Monday, July 29, 2013 at 10:30 AM. She was born on October 28, 1929 in Cavite, Philippines. She is the second eldest of eleven children born to Maximo and Maria Lagui. She married Resplandor (Rick) Monzon and came to the United States in July 3, 1953. She remarried in 1971 to Frank Sourgose until 2008. She is survived by her four children, Nina (Chris), Grace, Tony (Joy) and Ricky, ten grandchildren, (RIP Alex 1987), and six great-grandchildren.

Naty was a great cook, she had that magic touch and her specialties were pancit, lumpia, leche flan and bibingka. She was a hard working woman and passed those same principles to her children.
