During this time, she started a board and care facility for special needs clients in Bell Gardens and later purchased and managed Sir George's Smorgasbord restaurant in Downey in the 1980’s. After retiring from the restaurant business and nursing, Natividad devoted herself to managing board and care facilities until her full retirement in 2010.
Throughout her life, Natividad loved to sing, dance, play piano and spend time with her family. She was a person of integrity with roots in faith and family values and had a generous heart dedicated to helping others.
