Nancy Lynn Sutlovich, of San Pedro, passed away December 21, 2022 at 76, from a stroke. She was an “army brat” and proud of it. Her parents met in the Army in England during WWII. Born in Minneapolis, MN (Ft Snelling), she then spent her childhood in New Jersey (Ft Dix), El Paso, TX (Ft Bliss), Kobe, Japan, Staten Island, NY (Ft Wadsworth), Taipei, Taiwan, then settling in San Pedro (Ft MacArthur) in 1959. She worked at Green Hills & Dick’s Hallmark and donated her time to the Ave Maria Society and San Pedro Hospital’s Bookworms. After graduating from San Pedro High, she attended Harbor College where she met Dennis, the love of her life. They were married 53 years. She is predeceased by her son, Andrew John (6 mos), her father Kennith Hennell, her mother Alice, & stepfather Glenn Clover. She is survived by her husband, Dennis Sutlovich, son and daughter-in-law, Matthew & Tami Sutlovich, daughter & son-in-law, Michelle & Shawn Freeman, & grandchildren Madison & Gloria Sutlovich, & Patrick, Ashlynne & Aaron Freeman, as well as her siblings and numerous nieces and nephews. She treasured them all. Services will be held at Green Hills Chapel on January 19, 2023 at 2pm, with burial service to follow. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Alzheimers Association, a cause close to her heart.
