Nancy Jayne Larsen

Nancy Jayne Larsen passed away at home in the Hollywood Riviera on Monday, March 26, 2018. Nancy was born to Oliver H. "Bub" and Mary Ellen Larsen on June 11, 1956 in Inglewood, CA.

Nancy attended Riviera Elementary School and graduated from South High School in 1974. After retiring from Northrop Corporation, she was an active member of the community and served as Torrance Election Inspector for the last 25 years.

Family, friends & animals were Nancy's passion. Nancy once captured a wild skunk and tried to tame it. She loved all dogs, parrots & horses and adopted many other critters in her day. Nancy also loved the outdoors, the ocean & sea life.

Nancy was a talented cook and loved to share her culinary delights with everyone she knew. She had a very giving heart and enjoyed making others happy with her tasty meals & gifts. Every Holiday Nancy cooked for 20-30 people and often took food to other neighbors & friends that couldn't be there,.... We will all greatly miss Nancy's generous spirit and outgoing personality.

Nancy is survived by her mother, Mary Ellen Larsen and her sister, Karen Anna Larsen. She also leaves behind many numerous relatives and friends. Nancy is preceded in death by her father, Oliver H. "Bub" Larsen and her brother, Michael David Larsen.
