Myrna Ilagan Rojas

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Myrna Rojas, our loving and devoted great grandmother, grandmother, mother, wife and friend to all whose lives she touched, on January 26th 2023 at 4:07 am.

Mama Mee was born on January 10th, 1949 in Silang, Cavite. She was the 3rd child out of 9 children of Tatay Ino and Nanay Nelly. Mama Mee married her high school sweet heart, Jaime and were married for 56 years. Mama Mee and Dadaddy have 3 children; Sonny, Bebeth, Jazce and their bunso, Bim Bim. They raised a big and happy family, as of today, they have nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Mama mee is one of the best cooks, she was the go-to person to cater big family events. She showed her love by cooking for those around her. This can be backed by her secret ingredient which no one can reproduce, her love.

Her name, Mama Mee, came from her loving and nurturing personality. She was everyone’s second mom. She was light hearted, you would rarely see her upset. She was family oriented, she would gather the family up to spend time, talk, or just get together to eat. Of course Mama Mee was the cook.

She loved to play Bingo with her children at the Casino. Afterwards, she looked forward to the Casino’s Buffet that they would buy, hopefully with some winnings.

Mama Mee will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
A celebration of Mama Mee’s life will be held at The Chapel of Green Hills, 27501 S Western Ave, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA., on Tuesday, February 7th, 2023 beginning at 1:30 p.m.
